The Invisible War is amazing, but very depressing because it says nothing that viewers shouldn’t already know: rape is wrong; not about victim in any way, including victim’s gender; perpetrator should be punished or else will continue to victimize people in and outside of the military; system further victimizes victim and rewards perpetrators; not only are victims affected, but family; many victims have a proud military tradition in family so even more devastating; by going public, victims won’t feel alone and can heal by interacting with each other and speaking against system; and victims can find loving & understanding partners.
