I listen to We Nerd Hard because they provide hilarious rants on many of the shows and movies that I watch. It has also introduced me to some great media that I may not have discovered before listening to the show. Even though it is the second podcast offered by The Official This Week in Blackness Network, an independent media podcast network, We Nerd Hard is also the one that has failed to find its regular rhythm probably because it features the largest panel of hosts of any of the TWiB podcasts and varies in length from encyclopedic to brief. Listening to We Nerd Hard is almost as good as debriefing with friends after a viewing marathon or being outraged by a failed product. We Nerd Hard has its finger on the pulse of popular culture from Marvel movies to having a feature called “We Stream Hard” in honor of Netflix lovers everywhere. Gamers and tech aficionados may also find the show appealing, but I largely tune out during those segments. Once We Nerd Hard hits its weekly stride, there will be no flaws.
