Chekhov’s Gun doesn’t apply to this film. Small Town Saturday Night is basically what the title says except it is the day & night for the citizens of Prospect. Altman/Leigh ambitions, but basically CBS Sunday movie fare with a dash of cursing & brief sexual situations. Biggest names are Chris Pine post Star Trek fame & Octavia Spencer from The Help in a bit role. Other actors can be recognized from The Unit, Prison Break or Quarantine 2 for those zombie lovers.
