Anywhere But Here is a nice enough movie. Great acting elevates it from Lifetime movie status, but a fairly typical story line: irresponsible, capricious single mother & somber, studious & responsible daughter–Natalie Portman’s niche: Black Swan & less so with Where The Heart Is.
