I watched Ken Burns’ Baseball in one day & was riveted, but one should only watch Marshall University-Ashes to Glory if you really love football because it is as much about the school’s football history as about the players so I had a hard time staying focused & kept having flashbacks of the New Yorker article about the dangers of playing football. I was more interested in learning more about the entire community & the tragedy, but it didn’t get to that until 45 minutes in. I think that the soundtrack was too loud & distracting.
