The Other Love is a good movie that basically says-be a good girl and live, but are you just settling and not really living or be a fast girl and die, but aren’t you really living instead of a life half-lived. There is a really scary rape threat sequence that helps the heroine to decide which path to choose even though it takes an unexpected turn, but it was so shocking to see the differences in health care expectations that I briefly got distracted from the movie. Barbara Stanwyck is so awesome, I can’t even explain. We get both versions-brazen dame and breathy lady.
