Where to Watch

I clearly was not watching this movie in the spirit that the filmmakers intended OR I totally was & everyone has a huge crush on David Bowie! A really sexually charged, what an amazing voice, look at what he is wearing, is this weird way. I honestly spaced out & barely paid attention to Labyrinth when he wasn’t on screen. Blah, blah Where The Wild Things Are meets The Wizard of Oz. Whatever! Bowie was like sexy adulthood beckoning to her to leave childhood & while she matures throughout the movie, she definitely refuses. (Part of me was also like, “Um, he’s supposed to be an adult & I hope that she’s at least sixteen because we’re in some Alice in Wonderland territory here.” And then I was like, “Who cares. It is Bowie. She should go. I would go. Goblin King! Goblin King!)
