The Hidden Child is an amazing story, but the way the story was arranged was a bit haphazard. Rushed to tell the story then later on jumped back to the story when the main subject returns to the Netherlands whereas they should have rushed less and juxtaposed the subject’s narration in the studio and on site. Did a great job showing how after WWII, the laws further victimized Holocaust survivors by making the requirements for reuniting children with their parents virtually impossible: identification, money, etc.
