Partially a reenactment of historic trial testimony & a movie determined to explicitly impose the implicit moral question posed by the trial: is there a higher law than following orders in the military field? In the end, after finishing The Andersonville Trial, I left with more questions than answers about what really happened & I suspect that the real life trial was less ambiguous & there were more damning witness testimony to the horrors at that camp.
