I’m fairly certain that Jon Ronson could write about paperclips and make it riveting. His writing style is delightful. I heard about him when he was being interviewed by Jon Stewart while promoting The Psychopath Test: A Journey Through The Madness Industry, and I decided not to hold it against him that he was in any way connected with the movie, The Men Who Stare At Goats. I’m glad that I didn’t. The title does not lie. It is indeed his journey, filled with his subjective take on each person that he interviews and is not an objective, scientific manual on how to detect a psychopath. For that, I would heartily recommend The Sociopath Next Door. I plan to read the rest of Ronson’s books regardless of subject matter.
