An Unlikely Weapon: The Eddie Adams Story is the kind of documentary that even if a viewer is not interested in photography, the viewer would still be moved and transformed by watching it. An Unlikely Weapon: The Eddie Adams Story asks what does it mean to be considered the best; what does it mean to feel like you are the best; why is it a human impulse to be the best and how does being the best affect your life and those around you. If you have eyes and can see, you’ve seen Eddie Adams work. If you ever bought a Sunday paper with Parade magazine inserted in between the pages, you’ve seen Eddie Adams work. I personally enjoyed it for Adams’ (not native) NYC personality and insightful perspectives offered by his friend and fellow photographer, Bill Eppridge. An Unlikely Weapon: The Eddie Adams Story is a must see.
