The Tomorrow People is perfect background tv. It is also my favorite show to watch on my iPhone. Pros: a Spartacus actor, Mark Pellegrino, an apocalypse threat, fight scenes and managed to avoid lame story lines that it started to set up early in the series. Cons: suffers from CWitis-everyone except the main character is interesting; Heroes with fewer powers, but now that the show has been cancelled, unlikely to disappoint its viewers as much as Heroes did; a lot of suspension of disbelief when characters clearly do stupid things; depiction of seemingly powerful women. I wouldn’t mind checking out the original BBC series. Take it or leave it.
