Golden Years is very dated. Huffman’s character predates X-Files, yet seems like a cheekier Scully. Main character played by actor who was Angel’s nemesis & Connor’s adopted father, i.e. kidnapper! Lots of good actors, but firmly tongue in cheek stuff. Major networks always sign up Stephen King to make a show expecting the same success as his books, then loses faith at a critical hour so that explains the uneven narrative & ending.
