I’ve watched Community since the beginning, and I have always loved it, but there was a point where everyone became Abed, i.e. spent more time in the world of imagination, without the counterbalance of struggling against real world demands. The minute that the regular cast members began to leave (I’m not thinking so much about the legendary ornery Chevy Chase, but Donald Glover), Community should have ended. It was still fun to watch, but it lost its freshness. I hope that it doesn’t get a second chance, but I would recommend the majority of Community. At its best, Community was a show about finding friendship, reevaluating your priorities and treasuring leisure.
