Where to Watch

Initially I hated Arrow. The story lines were stupid and repetitive. There was very little character development, and most of the characters were annoying. I also live in a world where Arrow isn’t the sole proprietor of men randomly appearing shirtless. The first season had everything that I hated about Smallville: the stupid trope of people who are clueless about the titular’s character’s secret identity then get angry at the hero for hiding the truth, the main character being the worst actor in the cast and a boring love interest. The last two episodes from the first season made me decide to see what the following season had to offer. I am so glad that I did. The second season of Arrow is pure comic book action come to life. Also I am convinced that the CW has mastered the art of pure entertainment tv: have interesting guest actors who are better than the leads, add a dash of Spartacus actors and lines, keep the past flashbacks equally as interesting and momentous as the present and vice versa, and have a lot of well choreographed fight scenes. A must see for fans of DC comics or action enthusiasts. It won’t change your life, but it will make it more exciting…vicariously.
