Where to Watch

This groundbreaking documentary focuses on Eastern Europe during WWII, Stalin & the Allies’ clash of values. Churchill tried to stand up to him, but ultimately failed in his defense of Poland & US only wanted to defeat Germany & Japan then get out–a short-sighted view in light of the Cold War. Particularly appalling was Stalin’s dismissal of the seriousness of rape by the Red Army’s men. Hindsight is 20/20. Poor Eastern Europe, at the mercy of 2 madmen: Hitler & Stalin! World War Two: Behind Closed Doors features interviews with both survivors AND perpetrators. Some information only became available in the 90s after the USSR dissolved!
