Winchester ’73 is quite simply an amazing classic that deals with brutal matters in a frank, but delicate manner as only old Hollywood could do! Amazing cast, epic, almost Biblical story, Altmanesque perspective. Everything was done perfectly & believable that James Stewart was slowly driven to more sinister desires by his pursuit of justice! Bravo! Shelley Winters at her most Barbara Stanwyck!
