Until it devolved into a romance, I Will Follow was the closest that an American film got to French film in an unsensational depiction of coping with the death of a loved one. Very understated, simple and elegant. I came for the brief appearance by the luminescent Tracie Thoms, but stayed because of the balance between the tedium and turmoil of life after death for those who survive. A must see!
