Pfeiffer is an amazing actress who doesn’t get enough praise, but everyone gives a strong performance in White Oleander. The story is quite absorbing & doesn’t descend into Lifetime territory. Pfeiffer is the right measure of steel clothed in a veneer of warmth with a dash of Wuornos. I need to read this book ASAP if the movie was this good.
