If studios released a Buffy the Vampire Slayer &/or Angel movie tomorrow, while I may not remember every detail of the show, I would be able to jump back in quite comfortably. I did not watch Veronica Mars when UPN originally broadcast it, but I watched it on DVD in a short period of time. The atmosphere and general adoration for the titular and main supporting characters remains, but I’ve forgotten the majority of the series. While I enjoyed Veronica Mars the movie, it was strictly background tv for me because when I fully focused on the movie, I kept asking myself if I was supposed to remember that character or if a referenced event from the series. I kept asking myself if I should have rewatched the series then watch the movie. Meh. So I came for the atmosphere. I would recommend the movie to diehard fans. Kudos for a Jamie Lee Curtis cameo!!! More JLC! More JLC!
