None of the characters in Tiny Furniture were really likable & the story doesn’t get resolved. Main character doesn’t suddenly become successful or get the guy. She is a complete mess, may never be able to get out of her mother’s successful shadow & screws up a really great friendship yet I really enjoyed the honesty of Tiny Furniture while simultaneously repulsed by the main character. (One cultural difference, but I actually knew women like her. One minute you would talk to them then they would casually be nude around you, walking around, open showers, which I could never get used to. On one hand, bravo for being comfortable with your body, but on the other, why are you randomly naked around me. It was disconcerting & hard to keep the flow of conversation with somebody when they did this.)
