I think that it would be better to watch this movie in a dark, movie theater so you can give it your complete attention. When I watched Before Sunrise, I was in college, wasn’t as used to movies or familiar with the actors. I thought it was awesome. Even though parts of this resonated with me, I still couldn’t completely let go & enjoy them. Too much movie history under my belt to abandon myself to the concept of these two strangers making a connection. Hard to make icons come to life. Also I kept thinking, “You bum! I know you’re in France, but you’re married!” Still I appreciated Before Sunset-thinking about how careless you treated treasures when you were young.
