I simultaneously liked & didn’t like Rain. I thought the Khandi Alexander & Faye Dunaway were awesome & wanted them to have their own movie, but the waterfall of stereotypes kept coming: gangsters with gold teeth in big cars, no good father who spends all the $, dark skinned troubled daughter, all white people are wealthy, ride horses, but are cold & lonely, guys like women who insult them. A couple are OK , but after awhile, suspension of disbelief is impossible.
