Never Stand Still is a must see for anyone that loves dance. This documentary parallels the history of Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival with choreographers and students discussing what they do there interspersed with excerpts from an amazing array of dance styles from many cultures. Never Stand Still makes So You Think You Can Dance seem like a walk in the park or bubble gum. Never Stand Still is one of the most beautiful documentaries that I have ever seen. I need to make a pilgrimage to Western Mass to visit Jacob’s Pillow in person.
