For me, half the fun of a Herzog documentary is how he inserts himself into the narrative & because he doesn’t do that much, it doesn’t help that How Much Wood Would A Woodchuck Chuck is about an auctioneer competition & there are none of Herzog’s random schadenfreude musings about madness, obsession & death.
