I love Sandra Bullock and Regina King. I have also apparently seen Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous two times, but completely forgot it until I was halfway through it. It is basically the rough draft of The Heat except more shallow and filled with more stereotypes that aren’t overcome by the overall movie. I feel like I need a professional woman of color feminist and queer culture theorist to describe how it may be a microcosm of the wider problems faced by feminism, but that would be giving the movie too much credit and/or be too depressing. It is a sequel, and most sequels aren’t as good as the original so if you like the stars, watch it otherwise keep moving.
