I didn’t like the movie probably because Love Jones is realistic: miscommunication, self sabotage, letting one unresolved relationship ruin the subsequent one and for all the talk of love, felt more like sexual attraction, which is an essential and required element, but not the only one. Great soundtrack, atmosphere & every day feel, especially the few times that we peak into their careers, but the main story left me cold. Love Nia Long & was sooooo excited to see Lisa Nicole Carson (God, be with her. Miss her so much.)
