The Interrupters is a great documentary: it depicts former gang members, now adults, trying to prevent violence in Chicago today. I can never be immortal because while I enjoyed the film, I also felt a sense of deja vu as adults gave impassioned and moving speeches about improving their communities, the waste of human life and the need for positivity.
