I love Stockard Channing & would watch her in a movie where she just paints her nails. Where The Heart Is feels like a Lifetime movie elevated by a fairly solid cast. Joan Cusack has a small, but memorable role (when has her career NOT been described in such a manner). James Frain in a role where he isn’t a villain! Shocking! I enjoyed this trifle though the child ends up feeling like a forgotten plot twist.
