Where to Watch

How can a motto that gives me chills (“In brightest day, in blackest night, no evil shall escape my sight, Let those who worship evil’s might, beware my power, Green Lantern’s light.”) be surrounded by lameness? Their constructs are limited! Green Lantern wasn’t awful, but it wasn’t good–plot filled with cliches. Men in Black with limited alien wardrobe options. I was so psyched to see Angela Bassett & Tim Robbins then I felt sad for them. Seriously (SPOILER) the hero kills the villain by imagining a giant fist and knocking the villain into the sun! That’s all it took! It felt like a child wrote the entire script of Green Lantern. If it was a Saturday morning cartoon, it would have been cool, but for feature film, no! The whole movie was like that!
