Flame and Cintron uses two real Resistance fighters and historical events of WWII as the skeleton upon which the filmmakers seek to hang a male psychological melodrama about failure as an employee, a provider, a lover, etc. Though it has some strong moments, I was ultimately disappointed because it portrayed WWII resistance fighters as if they were really engaging in a shell game instead of a struggle against evil, which is an effective way of portraying the moral degradation experienced by people who may be justified in killing another person, but does a disservice to the subject matter.
