Where to Watch

Alan Rickman, who is literally amazing in everything, Polly Walker (sinister seductive headmistress in Caprica) & Norman Reedus (Daryll from The Walking Dead) star in this understated & unfortunately deliberately paced movie, Dark Harbor. There is a huge final twist at the end, which I actually saw coming. Anytime that you have an unnamed young male character upon whom the couple can project their feelings on, it is of great importance to focus on the moments where the young male character acts in a distinctive manner & that’s all I’m saying. For Rickman fans, there is male nudity from a distance. Yes, the movie is subtle, the acting is great & the story is consistent with the ending, but I’m not sure if it was really worth my time even with the ending–maybe if you don’t see it coming. Reviewers say that upon second viewing, this movie rises to excellence. Life is too short so I’ll take their word for it.
