Where to Watch

Crusade of Vengeance, also known as Warrior Angels, is really not good, but I said that I would watch Rutger Hauer in anything, and here is the proof. If I’m being generous, Crusade of Vengeance, also known as Warrior Angels, is a Xena: The Warrior Princess wannabe set during the Crusades and filled with anachronistic plot points, but the fighting isn’t that good. A noble woman who fought in the Crusades returns home to discover that a depraved nobleman who got up to shenanigans while everyone is away, kidnapped her son. I have no idea why he likes the son so much-he isn’t even that interesting a kid. The kid actually ends up being really irritating. There are some gratuitous rape scenes to help viewers understand that this nobleman is awful and needs to be stopped, but it is more lazy than offensive in the way that it conveys his awfulness. While the acting is serviceable, the actors are not charismatic enough to hide its numerous flaws. Go to imdb, look at the cast list and if you’re not into the actors featured, definitely skip Crusade of Vengeance, also known as Warrior Angels.
