Cradle Will Rock is a bit preachy, but a great drama/comedy about hypocrisy, art & politics. No one is spared–from the artists’ histrionics to the poseur elite audience, but in the end, the message is clear: what is your breaking point? Do you stay true to your art & stop being a whore? The voice of a true artist, regardless of politics, will stand. Great performance by Cary Elwes who consistently stole every scene that he was in as John Houseman. Found the final scene very moving for obvious reasons.
