The Arrangement is Mad Men’s ancestor-not one of Elia Kazan’s best. A bit dated & discusses more emotion than showing it. I think that Elia works best with adults playing teenagers. These actors, though fabulous & legends, don’t use the same acting technique, method acting, that made Elia the best in the past, but try desperately hard to elicit the same emotion & unfortunately it shows.
