As a movie, Arbitrage is ridiculous & contrived though it is fun to see pretty things & pretty people, but instead of making a thriller about corruption in the business world, the director decided to toss in a more juicy crime and a dash of race to make it more palatable for an audience that may pass up on JUST a thriller about the shell game of 21st century international economic landscape. As an epic Law & Order: Criminal Intent episode, Arbitrage is a lot of fun & quite enjoyable.
