The very beginning, narration and flashbacks of Antoine and Colette turned me off. It felt like a trailer for the movie: “You loved ‘The 400 Blows.’ Find out what Doinel has been up to since then!” When the Antoine and Colette progresses, it improves 100% until the closing random sequence, which was more commercial than the last scene with Doinel—the way that it should have ended!
