If Catch Me If You Can was a heartwarming story filled with more cliches about lovable cons, their estranged children trying to go straight but finally learning to love the rapscallion relative and fully live life, it would be $5 a Day. The cast makes the movie more palatable and enjoyable than the movie deserves. By the end, I liked it in spite of my better judgment.
