The Whistleblower: Sex Trafficking, Military Contractors, and One Woman’s Fight for Justice

Political Science / Genocide & War Crimes, History / Europe / Eastern, Biography & Autobiography / Social Activists

Author: Kathryn Bolkovac, Cari Lynn

Publish Date: 21/06/2011

Better than the movie because the hero of The Whistleblower: Sex Trafficking, Military Contractors, and One Woman’s Fight for Justice isn’t an emotional & shocked woman constantly surprised by evil, beating her hands helplessly against those who refuse to do anything, but a woman who not only understands bureaucracy, unblinkingly faces evil, isn’t easily shocked, but IS moved & passionate while effectively becoming a part of a larger fight against sex trafficking. [Save the prologue until you are up to the part when Kathryn Bolkovac is leaving Bosnia because otherwise it makes the book harder to follow initially.]
