A Stolen Life: A Memoir by Jaycee Dugard is heartbreaking. Amazed at how life stubbornly adapts & survives even in such a horrible atmosphere. Felt like the conclusion of A Handmaid’s Tale, but real. Noticed some common coping traits that I have used in my life & made me think that maybe there are some things that I should think about confronting (don’t worry-nothing so horrible as Jaycee Dugard experienced). Big surprise: she financially supported them!
