Who Goes There?

One of the few times that I can honestly say that the movie(s) are better than the book! Who Goes There? is the literary inspiration for The Thing, and like the titular character, you can’t differentiate the individual characters except when you remember what the character’s job is supposed to be. A bit disappointing, but provides an interesting backstory for the monster that isn’t really provided in the movies. Extremely dated, but not a must read except for those who are curious about the movie’s literary origins.
