Accidental Saints: Finding God in All the Wrong People

Religion

Author: Bolz-Weber Nadia

Publish Date: 27/10/2015

Because I read Pastrix: The Cranky, Beautiful Faith of a Sinner & Saint in less than a day, I decided to read Nadia Bolz-Weber’s second book, Accidental Saints: Finding God in All the Wrong People, immediately thereafter. While I enjoyed Accidental Saints: Finding God in All the Wrong People, I welcomed another opportunity to read the author’s voice, but I did not read it as quickly as her first book, which felt like a more comprehensive exploration of her life. Accidental Saints: Finding God in All the Wrong People is less a memoir and more a series of short stories or homilies focusing on what faith looks like in a contemporary setting. Because of the format, Accidental Saints: Finding God in All the Wrong People lends itself to extended reading, but may be less distinctive than its predecessor because there is not an overarching story. I would recommend Accidental Saints: Finding God in All the Wrong People to anyone interested in exploring the life of a weird Christian.
