Sucks! Breed is schizophrenic: one minute vamps are like persecuted Jews in ghettos like Nazi Germany & next like vamps in a Blade style night club. Terry Gilliam’s Brazil meets 1940s noir. Crap story that would later be improved by True Blood & X-Men. Awful acting: just say no to Bokeem Woodbine playing anything but a villain. Ling Bai looks like she should be in Cirque du Soleil. Just NO! I started reading midway– And all the vamps have an Eastern European accent. There is homage & then just stupidity.
