Ignore the description! No one gets rocked! It is a beautiful movie about memory, life, death, loss, relationships, melancholy, beauty, art, connection & how parts of who you are can be predetermined by environment or another person’s decision so there is sometimes a chasm, imaginary or real, between what you want & what you can get. If you don’t cry by the end, you could be made of stone or your hipster tolerance is low, but I loved Beginners!
