This documentary shows a world where a cause can be just because the poor are irrevocably victimized by a corrupt corporation, but ultimately fails because the creators of Bananas!* did not notice that one of the lawyers for those victimized seems shady as hell. He gives speeches like he is running for political office, does none of the actual legal work except occasionally appears to strike a grandiose pose for his clients, has an ornate bust of Caesar in his office. He is all flash, no substance & all his tales of personal woe and achievement are irrelevant if he is nothing more than a superficial mouthpiece. I wish that a filmmaker with a more critical eye had handled this important subject or at least focused on the lawyer who actually did the heavy lifting, Duane Miller.
