Paper Clips is a documentary about how a Tennessee middle school’s efforts to expand their horizons as a homogeneous community ended up being an epic Holocaust memorial. The score is really distracting-it is filled with grandeur and homespun goodness. Paper Clips’ subject matter is interesting, but the story is not told in the most compelling fashion, had pacing issues and tends to be repetitive. Paper Clips is a noble effort, but the effort gets in the way of the story.
