The Compendium of Srem is an enjoyable short story by F. Paul Wilson. It is related to the Adversary Cycle (The Keep, The Tomb, The Touch, Reborn, Reprisal, Nightworld) and the Repairmen Jack novels. You don’t need to be familiar with either series to enjoy this story. The Compendium of Srem is a tantalizing amuse-bouche to F. Paul Wilson’s fictional history of our world.
