If you can accept that Yuki Cross is annoying, uninteresting & stupid for all of S1 & most of S2 & can deal with a disorienting universe where vampires aren’t vamps that we’re used to (more mutation in DNA & separate species than supernatural), Vampire Knight is a very engrossing epic that pits vamp elites & rebel hunters who believe peace can exist against political vamps & corrupt hunters. For those zombie lovers, some lower level vamps have more in common with fast zombies than vamps.
