Thanks to Olamide Jarrett for introducing me to Key & Peele, a hilarious half-hour long sketch comedy show which appears on Comedy Central. Key & Peele reminds me of the early days of In Living Color without the Fly Girls or Jim Carrey. A Key & Peele episode is the perfect antidote for a hard day and became a staple of my post-court cool down. The great relationship between the two comedians adds to the chemistry in the skits, and occasionally I think that I would react similarly if confronted with certain ridiculous scenarios. The only skit that I have trouble following is Metta World News. My fave skits: The Valets, Wendell Sanders, any zombie or apocalyptic scenario, when Key & Peele play themselves in skits and the Magical Negro showdown–basically anything related to what I watch when I’m not watching Key & Peele. The Amazon Prime service is worth every penny so I could stream all three seasons, but I’m going to be in withdrawal until the fourth season starts in the fall.
