Mongrels is must see tv!!!! The perfect antidote to any depressing moment. Completely irreverent in the best sense. Because it is a British show, I didn’t get all the popular culture references, but I was still able to plough through two seasons in less than a week while dying with laughter. Even comparing it to Family Guy feels demeaning, but it has that format vibe. Mongrels is more like a demented, more realistic Sesame Street. There is a lot of cursing although it is bleeped out & puppet violence/sexuality, but for some reason that made it funnier. Only available on Hulu.
